About Soak Studio

I’ve always had a love for well made natural handcrafted goods. I love those unique finds that feel intentional and made with care and I have dabbled in making skincare products for my family for years.

In 2025, I experienced a massive shift in my life and was under a lot of chronic stress. On a weekend trip that summer, I came across a foaming sugar scrub in a downtown apothecary. I had seen (and made) sugar scrubs previously, but a foaming scrub was a new and exciting experience. 

As a mother of 5, it was hard to take time for myself, but I began to prioritize an evening bath ritual for myself to wind down in the evenings, which, among other things, helped my nervous system to recover. 

I wanted to eventually recreate that scrub for myself and entertained the idea of one day making for others the things that I loved.

In January 2026, I felt the time had come and I began sourcing recipes and ingredients and launched in March at the Second Saturday market in downtown Mount Pleasant, TX. 

My goal and hope is that my products help others to slow down, unwind, and create a moment of calm in the midst of an everyday ritual.
